These are suggested excursions and season dependant. To avoid disappointment please call the establishment in advance and set up your daily schedule/activities.

For day trips– choose one of our Saturday or Sunday day plans

Friday
Phone ahead and book a reservation at Kelkiewyn (028 840 1120) for a homely and relaxed supper and then stay at Vredelust B&B ( 028 840 1735) or book one of the self-catering cottages at Theewaterskloof Golf Club ( 028 840 2213) and have a braai/barbeque under the stars. Remember to be equipped to make your own fire and food.

 

Saturday
Bring along a boat or rent one at launch into the Theewaterslkloof dam.
Stock up on a picnic lunch at Kelkiewyn farm stall and spend a glorious day at the dam – swimming and sailing. If you have quad bikes then they are allowed here too.
Feeling energetic – go and play tennis at the club courts.
Sundowners (and dinner if you call in advance to set up) at the Golf Club Club house ( 028 840 2213).
Stay at Theewaterskloof Golf Club Self Catering Houses – if you staying you can launch your boat from their boat launch.

Sunday
At Theewaterskloof Golf Club play 9 or 18 holes (you play the 9 twice but it is an enjoyable course and you may want to do this), eat lunch in the club house.
