This is one remarkable farm. It is a beauty! You drive in a tree lined road and arrive at a beautiful tasting room with beautiful wine. Their facilities are classy ( I was even admiring the cottages they have for their labourers – they really look after their staff well) and this must be one of the largest wine farms around. It goes on for miles and they have wine and cattle and a very professionally run flower “factory”. Here they provide flowers for many retailers, including good old Woolworths. If you would like a tour of this flower facility then please set it up through Tri Active Management. We viewed the whole process from where the seeds are planted to how the flowers are watered and grown and then cut and prepared on site in a massive packing house and then stored in cold rooms. It would delight any girl to see the numerous roses or carnations – a sea of colour – take your wife/girlfriend on Valentines for a fun outing!

For the bike riders out there – this is the place to go! You pay a small fee at the gate and you can ride for miles on the clearly marked tracks. They have even put wooden ramps over the fences so you don’t even have to stop to open a gate. This is a great way to spend a few hours exercising and riding through the beautiful vineyards then return to the wine tasting room to sample their wines.
