This is the local’s pub. It is a character-filled, old building filled with interesting characters and owned by a very nice man, Herman.

Herman is trying to give back to the community through his business which has been in the family for years. He is currently and lovingly restoring the hotel, so although it is not a hotel currently, watch this space….The pub serves meals such as burger and chips and spare ribs.

Some nights the local talent performs on the stage and Herman says this is the place to view undiscovered talent from Elgin, of which he is a staunch supporter. Enjoy great beer on tap whilst watching the rugby too! Friday night is apparently local’s big night out and it is spent here.
